of the
Hill Climbing
can be a tiring sport - particularly when you have to wait for the cars! On
a lot of the hills we often share the venue with a car club. This shares some
of the costs and of course there is only one set of marshals (and wonderful
people they are. Never undervalue the marshals, without the assistance of these
splendid people we would never be able to run any events at all.)
A quick and clean machine with it's proud owner.
A good way to introduce yourself and to get a good handle on what goes on it to come along and Marshall. It's not difficult and you'll have an experienced person along with you. (You get the best viewpoints this way too)

Everyone gets roped into mending things when they go wrong,
It's a family sport too. The younguns can start at fifteen on the smaller bikes and of course the road legal class provides a framework for the unmodified bikes to compete on a level playing field (or an equally steep hill!) This ones not eligible for the road legal as it's based on a motocross frame.

The outfits
are great fun and a very competitive class. You get to scare a mate as well!
All sorts of outfits compete from classics to ex f1 machines.
Hat and shades not compulsory!
